Explore the mysterious fathoms below in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, KIDS! Adapted from the Broadway production and animated feature film, this stage version for young performers features a shortened running time and classic songs and characters that audiences have loved for generations.
Young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her father’s underwater kingdom and live in the human world above. When she strikes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs, she quickly realizes the bargain is not what it seems. Soon, Ariel must enlist the help of friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab to win the heart of Prince Eric and discover where she truly belongs.
Featuring music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, this new adaptation includes the iconic songs “Part of Your World,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “Under the Sea,” along with music written exclusively for the stage. With its vibrant cast of characters, dynamic settings, and beloved musical score, The Little Mermaid, KIDS is an enchanting theatrical journey of friendship, acceptance, and finding your true voice.
